Anabels B&B is a Bed & Breakfast Establishment in La Lucia, a five minute drive away from Umhlanga Rocks and the Gateway Shoppertainment Centre. We have four en-suite double units, three with an additional sleeper couch. They are all airconditioned and have cooking facilities.
All units have TV with M-Net and 'DStv Package' - M-Net movies 1 & 2, five Supersport channels, National Geographic, Sky News and TBN.
Delicious Breakfasts (either Super Special South African or Excellent Continental) and are usually served on the patios, one at the back onto which 3 rooms open and one in front which serves the front room. All units are equipped with cooking facilities, i.e. fridge/freezer, microwave, electric frying pan and hot plate, etc. As we have very hot summers, we have air-conditioners (remote controlled) in all rooms.
For the business traveller we have fax facilities as well as an Internet Hotspot, with wireless connection available in all rooms. There is a special desktop computer in the main house dining room if needed. All rooms have a desk or table and chair where one can work.
There are two built-in braai areas one of which is inside the new thatched Lapa in the front garden near our large sparkling pool. The other is located on the communal patio at the back. The electric gate offers secure parking, with one parking per unit.
The La Lucia Mall, (Library, Virgin Active Health Club and Tennis Club) is a 5 minute walk away, so is the Glenashley Fishing Beach. The Umhlanga Rocks Bathing Beach, the Gateway Mall and Umhlanga Hospital are a 5 minute drive. We are close to numerous restaurants. There is a Hairdresser and Italian Restaurant opposite the house.
