| ShaNaNa Guest house has been honoured by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa with a Three Star Rating. It is situated in the quaint village of Pennington just 40mins from Durban Int'l airport and 10mins from the buzzing town of Scottburgh. The house is a mere 5 minute walk to the beach and the local shops.
Enjoy ShaNaNa's lovely large indigenous garden which has much to offer every member of the family. A cool verandah with built in braai and sundeck leading onto the "just perfect" splash pool with a glimpse of the sea to view those impressive passing ships or perhaps even the dolphins and whales during the famous sardine run.
ShaNaNa's garden boasts the oldest and largest fig tree in Pennington and is fascinating to study with all it's ancient gnarled roots. A large stretch of lawn beyond the tree is perfect and spacious enough for the kids to enjoy playing soccer and cricket. The fully tarred driveway is spacious enough for many cars to park.
The property is fully walled, alarmed, linked to armed response and has an electric gate. The house itself is large airy and spacious, suitable for large groups or families as it comfortably sleeps up to 15 people. Two little ones could easily bring your number to 16. It contains four double rooms, two ensuite - each with a shower and loo, and a large playroom for kids or adults with bunk beds, sleeper couch, foos ball table and it's own TV linked to the DSTV.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans and one bedroom has an air-conditioner. There is one additional bathroom with bath and shower and one separate loo. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen lead out onto the sundeck and the dining room boasts a twelve seater dining room suite, fabulous for those memorable get-togethers. The lounge contains satellite TV and an entertainment centre. Guests should take own smart cards to access DSTV. The kitchen, scullery and laundry are fully equipped with oven, microwave, two fridges, one freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumbledrier. The house is fully serviced and cleaned on a daily basis. We regret no smoking indoors.
