Idube is an exclusive lodge situated in the world renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Ten luxury chalets are set in park like indigenous gardens shaded by knobthorn trees. The bathrooms are en-suite and there are outside showers adjoining each chalet.
High ceilings, air-conditioning and overhead fans ensure that the chalets are cool at all times.
Four thatched decks overlooking the open bush enable guests to leisurely watch game during the day, or they can relax at the sparkling boulder swimming pool.
Birdwatchers can walk along the suspended walkway to the hide sunk deep into the wall of Shadulu dam. For the more energetic, there is a small gymnasium.
Knowledgeable and experienced rangers and trackers take morning and evening safaris in open land rovers.
Game viewing is exceptional, with some of the best Big Five sightings in the world. Go on one of our bush walks and get up close and personal to the Big Five.
Meals are special occasions; sample our chef’s superb interpretation of Pan African cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are served on our game viewing deck overlooking Shadulu dam where elephants and other animals frequently come to drink.
Dinners are served under the stars either in one our lodge or our bush bomas.
We also offer extra day time activities such as educational talks, a trackers course, and visits to the Shangana Cultural Village, visits to a local Shangaan house, gum boots dances, traditional dances, shopping trips and more.
A stay at Idube combines the peace and tranquillity of the unspoiled bush with the comfort of a luxury lodge. Our staff are well known for their friendliness and personal attention to detail.
